Multi-strategy and multi-geography Asset Manager scales and automates with consistency

Evince Asset Management is a United States-based launch fund, with a second office in London, that employs a collection of proprietary systematic investment strategies with a discretionary overlay through global macro-themed investment approaches.

In late 2018, Evince began evaluating partners for order management, execution management, accounting and portfolio management. Evince was particularly interested in solutions that would scale and help automate processes while ensuring reporting consistency.

The Enfusion Solution

After careful consideration, Enfusion was the standout choice for Evince’s OEMS system at launch. The ability to integrate Evince’s workflows with one platform was a key differentiator, especially with the complexity of Evince’s multi-strategy quantitative global trading.

Evince was drawn to Enfusion through several factors:

  • Ability to manage the different asset classes traded by Evince (futures, FX, swaps)
  • Automation of electronic and algorithmic-based execution
  • Straight through processing to third parties (Fund Admin, PBs, Executing Brokers)
  • Customizable Reporting
  • Global presence & client base

Seamless integration and workflow reporting processes achieved

After a successful implementation, Evince is pleased to report their workflows and processes are all integrated seamlessly with Enfusion . The firm’s futures electronic trading processes are transmitted directly to executing brokers daily, and they can track and monitor their daily, monthly and YTD P&L with ease. The firm has also found success in managing reconciliations between PBs, the Fund Admin, and the firm’s multi-strategy portfolio. And now, Evince is managing cash balances, margin requirements (in addition to keeping back up books and records) through Enfusion’s accounting system.

Custom Enhancement to Support Bespoke Trading Permission in OEMS

A few months after Evince went live on the platform, the client’s Chief Operating Officer approached Enfusion’s team about managing user access with respect to trading permissions. At the time our platform did not have the functionality to support the client’s specific requirements, however, Enfusion has allocated Product & Development resources to understand the business case, scope out the requirements, and prioritize the request for enhancement.

Enfusion has become an integral part of our execution and investment reporting process.
